IP Telephony

IP Telephony, also known as Internet Protocol Telephony, is a technology that enables voice communication and multimedia sessions over Internet Protocol (IP) networks, such as the internet.

This system transcends traditional telephony by allowing calls to be made via a broadband internet connection instead of a conventional or analog phone line. The process involves converting voice signals into digital packets and transmitting them over the network.

One of the most recognized forms of IP telephony is Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), which has become a cost-effective and flexible communication solution for businesses and individuals alike, offering features such as call forwarding, voicemail, and conference calling without the need for separate phone lines.
