This device features a versatile dual-chain design, which allows you to configure it as an Access Point, a CPE, or even a point-to-point link when using two units in tandem. Building on this flexibility, the 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 radio includes RP-SMA connectors to support a wide variety of antenna choices. For instance, you can opt for an HGO-antenna-OUT for omni-directional coverage; alternatively, you can pair it with a mANT30 PA antenna to achieve long-range point-to-point links reaching up to 30 kilometers.
Additionally it is built to withstand the elements, also the NetBox 5 ax is powered by a Qualcomm Maple CPU and comes equipped with 256 MB of RAM, a USB port for additional storage options, and a Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE-in for convenient power and connectivity. Also the device’s design prioritizes ease of use for system administrators. Generally installation is made simple with a mounting loop for towers or poles and an optional DIN rail mount.
